Do you receive commissions from energy providers?
We do receive a commission from some energy providers for helping them grow their customer base. However, we always show you 100% of the available energy market with deals ranked by price alone. We always flag any promotional deals, to ensure you'll get a transparent view of the market.
What do I need to do when I switch providers with Handled?
Simply select your new deal, enter a few verification details, and we will take care of the entire switch process. You'll be able to easily keep track of progress with the in app Switch Timeline.
Will my service be interrupted if I change providers?
If you're currently connected, your power supply won’t be effected when you switch from one energy provider to another. Your new provider will only send a technician if you are not connect to the grid.
How often can I switch energy providers?
You are not locked-in to a term contract with your energy provider, so can switch as often as you like! A handful of contracts may hold exit fees, however switching a better deal can often far outweigh the cost of exiting early.
How do I know if I've really switched to a better deal?
Once you've switched to a better deal, simply upload your new provider bill to the Handled app, where you'll be able to see the comparison of your actual savings on your Dashboard. You'll see the difference in dollar terms.
How do I stay on a better energy deal?
We've created a Saving Alert tool within the app, allowing you to set a Saving Target for energy deals. We'll let you know as soon as a better deal becomes available. You can set this at any stage.
Are you going to pass my details to third party marketers?
No, you do not need to worry about being hassled with unsolicited marketing calls. We use your data to prepare your personalised deal listing, and to pre-populate the sign-up forms to make the switching process easier to complete.
